Planning and Zoning

The Planning Division is committed in servicing the community by providing an orderly procedure for the planning, zoning, and the development processes that are efficient and sensitive to community needs. The team of professionals and trained staff continuously strive to improve the effectiveness of the department through improved technology, citizen input, and self evaluation.

Close coordination is maintained with all divisions within the department. The Planning and Zoning coordinator guides the safe and responsible development of property with the goal of efficiently using the community’s resources and preserving its character and quality of life.
