Scope of Service:
City will provide the dimensions and layout of building along with concrete specs and plans.

Campbellsville Water Company is looking to hire a Wastewater Collections Crew Member
General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with construction, installation, maintenance, cleanliness, and repair of wastewater collection system.
2. Assist with consumer complaints appropriately and files reports of work and other activities.
3. Cleans vehicle, equipment and tools as required.
4. Detects malfunctions in any equipment and performs minor repairs. Recommends major repairs to supervisor.
5. Insures compliance with safety standards at all times.
6. Implements preventive maintenance programs and insures that preventative maintenance programs are followed.
7. Participates in service watch program. Must be able to respond to calls in emergency situations at all hours.
8. Any duties as assigned by Supervisor. Assist other departments as needed.
Requirements:
• At least 18 years of age with high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• A pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol screening are required.
• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing or construction experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain Class III Wastewater Collection certification issued by Kentucky Division of Water within 4 years.

The E9-1-1 Communications Center is located at 125 W. First St in Campbellsville, KY. We are a full service agency equipped with multi-line phone system, CAD, Enhanced 9-1-1, Rapid SOS, LINK/NCIC and a Code Red civil alert system used to send alerts during imminent severe weather. We dispatch for Campbellsville Police, Taylor County Sheriff, Campbellsville Fire/Rescue, Campbellsville-Taylor County EMS, Campbellsville University Campus Safety, Taylor County Animal Shelter and Taylor County Coroner’s Office. In addition, we work closely with Emergency Management, Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, Kentucky State Police Rangers, US Corp of Engineers, and Air Medical Agencies, just to name a few.
The 9-1-1 Center can be stressful but it is a very rewarding career in which you can be a part of saving someone’s life and making a difference just by being here for the people/communities we serve.

What does it take to become a 9-1-1 Dispatcher?
- Be at least 18 years old and a U.S. Citizen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License (Must not have accumulation of 9 or more points for traffic violations)
- Must Not have been convicted of a felony or have any criminal action pending against you.
- Must pass a pre-employment medical examination
- Must Not be a current user of illegal drugs
- Must not have bought, sold or possessed marijuana within three years prior to the time of the application; or bought, sold or possessed any controlled substance or narcotic.
- Must pass a pre-employment written and oral psychological evaluation
- Must pass a pre-employment polygraph examination
- Experience preferred but not required

Salary – Uncertified Candidates
- Starting pay $15.00/hr
- $15.50/hr upon successful completion from DOCJT
- $16.00/hr – salary increases after the completion of a one-year probationary period. The probation period begins after obtaining certification.
Salary – Lateral Certified Telecommunicators
- 1-3 years of DOCJT/KSP Certified Experience ($17.00/ hr.)
- 4-6 years of DOCJT/KSP Certified Experience ($18.00/ hr.)
- 7+ years of DOCJT/KSP Certified Experience (19.00/ hr.)

In an effort to increase affordable housing, the City of Campbellsville has issued its inaugural request for proposals (RFP) for housing development. The city is seeking submissions from eligible for-profit and nonprofit development partners to establish affordable housing projects on a 73- acre vacant plot located in the former Sports Park Complex property. The location is on Kassie Miller Drive. The property is municipal owned by the City of Campbellsville.
