City Clerk

Cary Noe has been City Clerk of Campbellsville since January 2003.

The position of City Clerk is an appointed position by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. KRS 83A.085 outlines the following duties and responsibilities of the city clerk:

  • Maintenance and safe-keeping of permanent city records.
  • Performance of duties required of “official custodian” or “custodian” pursuant to KRS 61.870-61.884 (Open Records Act).
  • Possesion of the Seal of the City.

The office of the City Clerk is also responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, collection of taxes, payroll, and human resource issues.
